Josh brings fresh energy, focus, and genuine passion to TFDC’s goalkeeper coaching setup. As
an active player himself, he offers younger keepers first-hand insight and support — blending
experience with encouragement to help them grow.

Still early in his coaching journey, Josh has already shown great initiative. He began assisting
sessions as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, trained under Exeter City academy
staff at IFA, and is now developing his qualifications while working alongside the TFDC team.

• Currently completing FA Level 1
• Trained under Exeter City Academy Goalkeeper at IFA
• Volunteered coaching sessions for DofE Bronze Award
• Following Grassroots coaching guidelines
• A-Levels in Physics, Biology, and Sport BTEC Level 3

• Current – Goalkeeper for Tavistock AFC U23s and Horrabridge U18s
• Previously – Represented Devon U16s (school-nominated)
• Previously – Player at IFA Academy for 2 years

Josh is passionate about supporting young goalkeepers with practical, high-quality sessions that
build confidence and develop core skills. His coaching is shaped by experience in both playing
and assisting at youth level, and he brings enthusiasm, organisation, and a strong sense of
responsibility to the role.

He believes goalkeeping is as much mental as it is physical — and aims to be a role model and
steady voice of encouragement for every young keeper in his sessions.

A proud supporter of Liverpool FC, Josh’s favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo — admired for
his work ethic, resilience, and leadership on the pitch.
