Is the program at TFDC formal, and does it involve trials for all participants?
Our entry-level programs are designed to be welcoming and enjoyable for kids at various skill levels. The trial process helps ensure that each child is placed in the appropriate group to enjoy their experience while developing their skills at a comfortable pace. However, if you are looking for a more relaxed, fun environment without the formality of a trial, our program may not be the best fit. We recommend exploring other options that align more with a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment.
My child isn’t at the level of progressing into a team yet. Will this program still suit them?
If your child is primarily looking to improve basic skills and have fun without the pressure of progressing into a team, our program might feel a bit more formal due to the trial process and focus on development. We understand your concerns and suggest looking for programs that align more with a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment.
When and where does training for the Player Development Centre take place?

I requested a trial but haven’t received confirmation. What should I do?
After submitting the “request a trial” form, you should receive a confirmation message. If you did not receive this, feel free to contact us through the “Contact Us” form on the website, and we will be happy to check the status of your request
How should I classify my child’s skill level when signing up for a trial?
When filling out the trial request form, if your child plays for a grassroots football team, they should be classified as “grassroots.” If they play for both a grassroots team and an academy, select “academy.” If they are relatively new to football, they should be classified as a “beginner.”
What is the cost of the program?

How are payments handled for TFDC?
When a player joins TFDC, parents or guardians are required to make an upfront payment for the first 4 weeks of training and set up a direct debit for ongoing monthly fees. If a player decides to leave the program, parents must give 4 weeks’ notice by emailing the TFDC office at info@tfdc.co.uk. The direct debit will be canceled after the notice period has been completed.
What is the training schedule like throughout the year?
Coaching sessions are delivered over 45 weeks of the year and are primarily scheduled during term times. There will be breaks during the Christmas holidays, 1 week of the Easter holidays, and the month of August.
Are there any school holiday camps or extra activities?
Yes, follow us on Facebook and sign up for our newsletter for updates. During some half-term and other school holidays, we may offer special opportunities for players of various age groups to engage in tournaments or matches against professional clubs and coaching organisations, designed to enhance their football development.
My child currently attends another football development centre. Is it okay for them to attend TFDC as well?
Yes, many of our participants also attend other development centres or football teams. Our program aims to complement your child’s current football education by providing additional skills training in a structured yet enjoyable environment.
